In order to further his knowledge,Dr Jean-Pierre Tabah

then completed a Graduate Certificate in Multidisciplinary Residency at the CHUM and the Université de Montréal.

This additional year of training allowed him to acquire a better expertise in dentistry, particularly in the diagnosis of oral cancer. His residency allowed him to perfect his knowledge in oral medicine, but also in several other fields, notably periodontics (gum problems), endodontics (root canal treatment), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges and crowns on implants) and oral surgery.

During this year, he was able to put into practice the multiple skills he learned throughout his training. He acquired the skills to treat many diseases and problems affecting oral health.

Motivated by his passion for dentistry, Dr. Tabah has taken several courses since graduation in order to broaden his skills. He has trained in three specific areas.

His training in prosthodontics allows Dr. Tabah to plan and perform treatments to restore the appearance of his patients’ smiles. He is therefore qualified to replace missing teeth with techniques such as crowns, bridges and implant-supported crowns.

His training in periodontics allows him to diagnose and treat diseases that affect the periodontium, the tissues that support the teeth, such as the gums, jawbones and dental ligaments.

Since he has participated in several endodontic training courses, you can trust Dr. Tabah to perform root canal treatments or to treat dental pulp diseases, the inner part of the tooth that contains nerves and blood vessels.
